SIIG's eSATA II PCIe i/e controller card is designed to add two SATA channels (one internal and one external) for connecting up to two additional SATA hard disk drives. The eSATA II PCIe i/e controller card features the latest eSATA connector, delivers data transfer rates of up to 3.0Gb/s, and supports 48-bit LBA for drives with capacity larger than 137GB. Additional features include independent command fetch, scatter/gather, command execution, Native Command Queuing (NCQ), Non-zero offsets NCQ, Out-of-order data delivery NCQ, and hard disk hot-plugging ensure fast and reliable data transfers.
The eSATA II PCIe i/e controller card comes with the included spare low profile bracket for installing into either standard height or low profile system chassis. It is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG's limited lifetime warranty.
